What’s in my Child’s Backpack? Rosh Hashanah!

Today your children are bringing home some exciting items to help celebrate Rosh Hashana.  I like giving heads up about this because if you are anything like me before a holiday, backpacks tend to remain untouched until it’s time to go back to school 😛

Here is what you can expect to come home:

  • 2 round Challot shaped by your child.
  • A Rosh Hashana place mat depicting four of the symbolic foods many families place on their holiday tables.  Ask your child the “why” for each of these foods!
  • Something your child made just for you!

A sneak peak at what is in your child’s backpack.

Wishing each and every one of you a good and VERY sweet New Year!!
