Courtney Buckner

Courtney has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee. This will be Courtney’s 14th year teaching in private schools, and she has taught 4th grade, kindergarten and 1st grade. Courtney moved to North Carolina last summer from Los Angeles to be closer to family. She currently lives in Charlotte with her cat, Hobie. She loves animals, reading, jogging, traveling, watching football, and teaching.

Courtney’s mission is to engage children with enthusiasm toward learning and challenge them to embrace the curriculum and their personal goals. She wants children to achieve personal success and a deeper understanding of themselves, their classmates, and the world around them. Courtney hopes to convey to children that education is the single most important component of someone's life, and it is a never-ending journey.
