Rachel Moore
Mrs. Rachel Moore attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, majoring in chemistry and biology. Mrs. Moore then redirected her studies in order to pursue a degree in Primary and Secondary Education. She is currently taking coursework for that degree, and she plans to complete her teaching certification here in North Carolina. Mrs. Moore also holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from the Erie County Community College for Dental Hygiene, and spent several years working in that profession. She is Red Cross certified in CPR. Her professional interests include peer mentoring and mastery learning. Mrs. Moore is actively involved in philanthropy for several organizations including: the March of Dimes, the Leukemia Foundation, the Battered Women’s Shelter of Union County, and the Union County Animal Shelter. Her outside interests include running, skiing, fishing, swimming, going to the beach, and golf. Mrs. Moore lives in Indian Trail with her husband; Rick, their children; Brittany and Ricky, and their family dog, Summer.
