Pat Hyde

Pat Hyde is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She puts her degree to the test at CJDS by proofreading and editing newsletters, handbooks, notices, brochures, and letters. Her administrative duties include extensive database management and accounting support, including the school’s annual fund campaign. Mrs. Hyde’s involvement in the Charlotte Jewish community includes part-time administrative work for outside organizations as well. She is employed by The Barbara & Jerry Levin Jewish Middle School. She also works for Rabbi Groner, of Congregation Ohr HaTorah, editing personal correspondence, newspaper articles, and Divrei Torah. Mrs. Hyde received her certification as a Braille transcriptionist from the Library of Congress. Her extracurricular activities include volunteering with a Braille group that assembles Braille Bibles. Pat lives in Matthews with her husband, Wilson; her parrot, Buddy; and Hoover, the Beta fish.
